My second novel, Fate & Fortune, is about Alexander, a young man who made a deal with Lady Luck and her sister Destiny to reverse his fate and change his fortunes.
Unfortunately, this meant he would never be with his soulmate, Amanda. When he asked the Sisters to cancel the deal, their brother lets him relive parts of his live in order to fix things, but there are a few caveats. 1) He can't let anyone follow him back into their world. 2) If he visits one time too many times, bad things can start to happen. 3) His clock never stops running—spend a minute reliving life, lose a minute at the end.
Can he make things right before he runs out of time, or will his twisted fate doom both of them?
Fate & Fortune is currently on Kickstarter. The campaign runs until November 5th, late pledges until December 5th.

My debut novel, A Sinister Love, is about a demon named Scribble who gets fired from her desk job in Purgatory and sent to tempt Paul Taylor, a young bookstore owner, but instead falls in love with him (which isn't supposed to be possible)! However, when she discovers just why she was fired—and why Paul didn't already have a demon to tempt him—she and Paul get swept up in the machinations of a demon Prince. Now she must try to overcome her very nature to save Paul, even if it costs her everything.
A Sinister Love is an urban fantasy novel with action, romance, comedy, and a rather annoying digital personal assistant. Although it is intended for young and new adult audiences, anyone who is a fan of Good Omens, The Dresden Files, or On A Pale Horse will love A Sinister Love.
My Story
There's not much to say about me that hasn't been said about a lot of writers. The details are as follows:
I am a 40-something with ADHD who has worked as a grant writer, SEO writer, waiter, bookseller, and now as co-host of a YouTube channel about board games called, "The Board Game Rundown."
I write, which I suppose is obvious. My first novel, A Sinister Love, is an urban fantasy/supernatural romance about Scribble, a demon who falls in love. I am currently editing book number 2, tentatively titled, "Fate & Fortune," and writing book number 3, "A Date with Destiny."
My interests are numerous and varied. I regularly play guitar for my church, I am an active freemason, and I like to build things. The list is simply too long for a space as small as this, but it includes things like brewing beer, backpacking, cooking, history, science, and keeping my 2 children alive.
I have been married to my wife, Amy, since 2008, and I owe her a debt I could never repay for all her support, understanding, and love. She currently works at Notre Dame University as a professor of actinide chemistry (you know, that bit below the periodic table). We live in Mishawaka, Indiana on the tallest—and only—hill around.
However, if you see me in the Atlanta area, do not worry; that is merely my twin brother.
Oh, and I have cats.
